POSTPONED – Longshore Marine No Bait Tournament
Regretfully, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Longshore Marine No Bait Tournament that was scheduled for this coming weekend. We are aware that some people will be disappointed and that the weather forecast sites are giving different forecasts, but there is too much effort and money (especially by sponsors) going into the tournament to risk it being a flop due to adverse weather.
We had at least a couple of reputable weather forecast sites predicting unpleasant conditions on both Saturday and Sunday with wind gusts up to or over 20 knots on top of at least a 2.1m swell – not ideal conditions for softbaiting.
We have selected a postponement date of Feb 3rd – 4th (Waitangi Weekend) fingers crossed for the weather!
